Workers' unions protested in Brussels against government’s plan to reform pensions on Wednesday.
According to the police around 55,000 people marched through Belgian capital, while the organisers said they were 70,000 in the protest. They marched from the morning until the early afternoon throughout the city centre of Brussels.
The main target for the protest was the pension’s reform currently proposed by the government lead by Charles Michel. According to the reform, retiring workers will see the retirement wage reduced even further and the retiring age pushed to 67 from the current 65.
